Adult Athletics
Adult Slowpitch Softball Leagues
The Parks & Recreation Department offers Softball Leagues for Men, Women and Co-Rec. Teams. Leagues are open to players 18 years and older. Teams can be comprised of Fairfield residents, full time employees of the Town of Fairfield and Board of Education and up to 3 non-residents. (Non-residents must pay a fee and may only play in one league.) The season opens in late April.
Teams that played the previous season are invited to return. Openings become available only if teams do not return or if field space can be found. New teams that are interested in playing should contact the Recreation Department at 256-3191 to be put on a waitlist.

Information for the 2010 Season
All Players must register and all League Fees must be paid prior to first scheduled game.
All teams must use a double firstbase this season, the base may be purchased at Artic Sports Shop
at 480 Huntington Tnpk. in Bridgeport
Official Softballs for all leagues are the
44 core Dudley Red Stitch Thunder Heat 375 compression. Balls may be purchased at Artic Sports Shop
at 480 Huntington Tnpk. in Bridgeport, or at SoftballSales.com

Adult Basketball
The Men’s Basketball Program plays one game per week, on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings at Roger Ludlowe Middle School, commencing in December and concluding in March. Interested teams must be comprised of 100% Fairfield Residents and should contact the Parks and Recreation Department to be placed on the waiting list as returning teams have first priority.

Drop-in Programs
Men's Over 30 Soccer
The Men’s Over 30 Soccer meets on Sunday mornings at the Tomlinson Soccer Field, on Unquowa Road at 9:30 am beginning September 7th. This is a free drop-in program for Fairfield residents only.
Women's Drop-in Soccer
The Women’s Drop-in Soccer is for women 18 years of age and older and will meet at the Fairfield Woods Soccer field on Fairfield Woods Road starting SUNDAY, September 7th at 9:00 am. This is a new program initiated by Fairfield resident, Tara, e-mail contact: TaraKasaks@aol.com Questions may also be directed to Ginna Paules at the Recreation Department, 203-256-3191. This is a free drop-in program for Fairfield residents only.
