All Parks and Recreation meetings are open to the public and are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Parks and Recreation Department, 75 Mill Plain Road.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Registration Procedures & Policies
- Programs open to any permanent resident and/or taxpayer of the Town of Fairfield, or sole proprietor of a Fairfield business.
- All registrations are done by a lottery. One week after the U.S. Postal Service has received brochures for delivery, the registration lottery will begin.
- Registration will be accepted by MAIL OR FAX ONLY through Wednesday, September 5th. Walk-in registrations beginning September 6th will be taken only if all mail-ins and faxes have been processed. Mail-ins and faxes are always accepted provided space is still available. Many classes fill quickly, it is advised that you mail or fax immediately after you receive your brochure. We are not responsible for lost mail or faxes that failed.
- We now accept Master Card, Visa Credit and Debit cards.
- Please use a separate registration form for each person. Only family member forms may be mailed in the same envelope.
- Additional forms may be obtained on the web www.fairfieldrecreation.com or you may also make copies.
- Don’t forget to indicate jersey size for the programs that request it. Purchased jerseys will be given out at the first practice.
- Confirmations will be mailed back to all applicants.
Waitlist Policy
- Please indicate additional choices. If additional choices are filled, you will be waitlisted and contacted if a space becomes available.
Refunds - * New Policy
- All requests for refunds must be done in writing. You may e-mail refund requests to: Recrefund@town.fairfield.ct.us
- Refunds will be granted up to 5 business days from the start of the program less a $10 administration fee. If cancellations are made in less than 5 business days of the program start date, only 75% of the registration fee will be refunded, less a $10 administration fee.
- No refunds will be granted after the start of the program.
- No refunds given for TRIP Registrations unless we can fill your seat. If we are able to fill your seat a refund will be issued less a $10 administration fee.
- Requests for refunds in the event of a medical injury must be done in writing with a doctor's note and mailed to the Parks & Rec. Dept. Attention: Director.
Cancellations and Make-ups
- Any class/program may be canceled for insufficient enrollment. All fees will be refunded.
- In cases of inclement weather, call the Recreation Cancellation Hotline: 203-256-3144 for up to the minute cancellations.
- Make-ups are scheduled only for classes canceled by the Parks & Rec. Dept.
Scholarships
- Scholarships are available for those children who meet pre-approved criteria. Contact the Parks & Recreation Dept. for further information before registering.
