The Fairfield Tennis Center, located on Old Dam Road, offers five har-tru courts for day and night play. A Town of Fairfield RECREATION PASS may be purchased, for the fees listed below, allowing unlimited play at no extra charge and the privilege of calling for 3 hours of reserved play weekly. (These courts may be used on an hourly basis by non-pass holders for an hourly fee. See Cash Play fees listed below.)
Recreation Passes may be renewed ONLINE by clicking this link if you had a Tennis Recreation Pass in 2009. Recreation Passes may also be purchased at the Tennis Center when they open in mid-May or at the Parks and Recreation Department. Proof of residency is required. You must have two forms of I.D. showing that you are a Fairfield resident.
The Tennis Center is scheduled to open in mid May. Contact the Tennis Center for more details. At the time of this printing Recreation Pass and cash play fees have not been finalized. * All rates are subject to change.

Fairfield Indoor Tennis
Enjoy tennis throughout the Fall and Winter at Fairfield Indoor Tennis located on Old Dam Road. The season runs from September 17th through April 25th. (Approximate dates at the time of this printing, dates are subject to change.) For fees and further information, contact Fairfield Indoor Tennis at 254-0440.
Asphalt Tennis Court Reservations
Fairfield has 31 asphalt courts at 9 different locations. Residents may use these courts at their leisure on a drop-in basis or may make a reservation by calling the Parks & Recreation Department at 256-3144. Residents may reserve 2 hours of court time per week, up to one week in advance. There is no fee for making reservations. Permits will be issued from April 1st through November 1st for the following locations.

Tennis Lessons

Tennis Program Directors Dave Kardas and Greg Sansonetti (members of the USPTA, USPTR, and USTA) return for their sixth season and an experienced certified staff joins them to teach the fundamentals of tennis. Any questions can be directed to Fairfield County Tennis at 203-640-1724 or email fct@fairfieldcountytennis.com. More info is also on their website www.fairfieldcountytennis.net In the event of rain, call the cancellation hotline at 203-256-3144, press 5, press 7. The course schedule only allows for 1 rain make-up per week. Rain make-ups will be held on Fridays.
PEE WEE TENNIS These lessons are for boys and girls age 3 to 5 and work on hand/eye coordination, agility, and the introduction of tennis skills in a fun environment. We ask parents to remain at the courts during the pee wee class. Max 30. Meets 4 times.

JUNIOR TENNIS Junior Tennis clinics and camps are divided up by age level and ability and will focus on basic strokes (forehand, backhand, volleys and the serve) and learning to rally. Rules of the game using lots of skill drills for technique and agility will also be included. Camps will include some fun games to break up time on the courts and further develop cross training skills. |

Beginner has either never held a racquet or has played sparingly without having formal instruction. Advanced Beginner has completed the beginner class or has had introduction to grips and strokes and makes contact with ball on a regular basis. Low Intermediate is starting to keep the ball in play, is learning to serve, can volley, and learning court positioning. Intermediate can keep ball in play, can hit with some spin, serve, and volley consistently. |

At the 2nd traffic light make a right onto South Pine Creek Road (will see the Mobil gas station at the corner). Follow for one mile. Take a left onto Old Dam Road. The club is on the left (there is a par 3 golf course on the right).
