THE GETAWAY

The Getaway is a weekly social group for any 9th-12th grade FHS student ~ talking, listening, & sharing on whatever topics arise.  From shallow, crazy, & hysterical to deep, personal, and powerful.  It's like what you experience when you hang out with your friends and talk about what's on your mind.  You can just listen, share your opinion, or offer your advice ~ it's quite interesting to see what your peers have to say when they have the platform to say it! Music always playing and snacks served!!  As one Junior from Ludlowe summed it up, "It's an amazing teen group where nothing BUT being yourself is in. "EXACT words from your peers.“A lot of fun, Relaxed, Genuine, Insightful, Thought Provoking, Very Exciting, Intriguing, Awesome, Positive, Open, Interesting, Eye Opening, Thrilling, A Pleasant Surprise, Fabulous, Wonderful, Easy to Express Yourself, Amazing, Entertaining, Joyful, Great, Helpful” A valuable program to build your resume for work and college. Call Jen at 203-345-7329 or email Porcalana@aol.com for more info. Posts weekly on Facebook Events.
