REGISTER BY REGISTRATION DEADLINE – THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4th - Cost $35.00

The Parks & Recreation Department offers Basketball for boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 and also Challenger Basketball for special needs children in grades 2 through 8. The game schedule for all grades runs seven consecutive weeks starting SATURDAY, JANUARY 8th. Teams practice for 1 hour, once a week for all grades starting in early December. Games will take place on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at various gyms located throughout Town. All coaches for the program are volunteers. Teams practice 1 hour per week and practice times are determined by the coach’s schedule. Any person interested in coaching should e-mail League Director Anthony Calabrese, acalabrese@town.fairfield.ct.us or call the Parks and Recreation Department at 203-256-3191.

It is important to register on or before the registration deadline, Thursday, November 4th. Returning players from last season will be placed back on their same team provided they register by deadline. Second grade teams will be selected and teamed with neighboring schools. New players and players that want to switch teams will be placed at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department. Any registrations received after the November 4th deadline will not be guaranteed placement on a team.

This program is for RECREATION LEVEL PLAYERS ONLY. Those players on PAL, Wakeman Travel, YMCA Travel or any organized school team are not eligible to play in the Recreation Youth Basketball Program.
